To help ensure a quality repair, the crack or chip is thoroughly cleaned of debris and moisture. The resin that fills and seals the damaged area is applied using an injector on our DELTA Kits or AEGIS repair systems. Curing tape is placed over the liquid resin to seal the damage and create a flat surface cure. A high-power ultra violet light is used to cure (harden) the resin. Next, the curing tape is removed, the excess resin is scraped off, and the repaired windshield is polished.
